about

What is left of human life after Earth is no longer habitable? There will possibly be a trip to Enceladus, one of Saturn’s moons. There is an ocean beneath the icy surface, which means water that can sustain life.

Oftentimes, especially in times of hardship and survival, the most ugly sides of human nature are revealed. The narrator in this story has seen these sides, but is hopeful that this expedition to Enceladus will help them recover their humanity.

lyrics

Ancestors of a spavined world
Nebulous heart entwined and curled
Histories, teeming life around me
Determined we launch into mysteries abound
Enceladus feeds from the yellow sun
Beacon of hope in the cloudy stardust
Hardened gaze laced with filigree
Nocturne space between a chance and our dreams

I feel like I can be the skyline
An endless sacred timeline
With a pyrotechnic glance to light my path
You are the ambrosia sustaining me
Wilderness when I need to find relief
Parallel universe unleash the colors inside
Salutations friend blend in our minds

I’ve been searching for the human side
The range of colors radiating life
I’ve been searching for the human side
The range of colors radiating light

Tantalizing cadence and seamless rhythm
Manifesting toroidal energy
Eternal design spiraling incredibly
A time-lapse framed with ingenuity

I’ve been searching for the human side
The range of colors radiating life
Gravity suspend me in the dark sea (I’ve been searching for the human side)
Shed division into unity
I’ve been searching for the human side (I’ve been searching for the human side)
The range of colors radiating life
Gravity suspend me in the dark sea
I’ve been searching for the human side
