Humans have altered the DNA of several animals, making them chimeras—or animal-human hybrids—in order to grow and harvest human organs from their bodies. However, the blood alteration has also caused an increase in intelligence which the scientists didn’t realize would be a huge consequence. Without rights to their own bodies and lives, the chimeras are finally strong and developed enough to rebel against their lab captors.
